Terms and conditions for Moorings and Storage Ashore at Acaster Marine
1. All vessels on the Company's premises may be moved by the Company to any other part of the same premises.
2. The Company shall not be liable, for any loss, theft, or any other damage of whatsoever nature caused to any vessel or vehicle or other property of the owner or others claiming through the owner, except to the extent that such loss, theft, or damage may be caused by the negligence or willful act of the Company or those for whom it is responsible.
3. The owner shall maintain third party insurance of his craft, such insurance shall be effected and maintained in an insurance office of repute, and the owner shall produce the policy on demand.
4. No part of the Company's premises shall be used by the owner for any commercial purposes.
5.The Company has the right to exercise a general lien upon any vessel, or other property of the vessels owner whilst on the Company's premises, until such time as any money due to the Company in respect of storage, repairs, commission charges shall be paid.
YARD STORAGE CAN BE PAID BY THE FOLLOWING METHODS
Short Term Storage (Up to 3 months) Storage can either be paid with the lift out or settled prior to re-launching.
Medium Term & Long Term Storage (3 months - 6 months - 12 months)
A. Storage can either be paid by way of 2 x 3 month advance payments at the standard rate of .45p per ft per week.
B. A monthly standing order direct to the Company's bank account at an additional surcharge of 10%.
C. A 6 month payment in advance and receive a 5% discount.
D. A 12 month payment in advance and receive a 15% discount
Please note. ALL Winter storage will be charged a minimum storage fee from 1st Oct - 1st April
(This is regardless of when you enter or leave the yard over the winter period, as we have limited storage space available)
